She described her union with Shulam as more ‘mellow’ than her previous liaisons.

At that time, the “Valentine’s Day” actress said that, she hates to talk about her break-up, as she does not want it to define her, as there were lots of trust issues. Since then, Anne has found her happiness with Adam Shulman and she is totally in love with him. Let’s congratulate Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman over their happy engagement.

So just who is the guy who has stolen Anne Hathaway’s heart?
That’s Adam Shulman (30) an actor-turned-jewelry designer. Photographers caught Shulman and Hathaway (29) in New York’s Central Park over the weekend celebrating their engagement. Hathaway’s rep confirmed the news.
Shulman has lately seemed to take a break from acting, shifting his focus to jewelry designing. He co-launched a collection — delicate butterfly necklaces and earrings, a pendant shaped like a light bulb — called James Banks (his middle name? Banks). Lucky featured it in the April issue. It’s no wonder Shulman had a hand in designing the Kwiat rock he gave his new fiancee.
In the three years that he has been linked to the forthcoming Catwoman, Shulman’s acting resume has been rather scant. Indeed, when the couple first hooked up, tongues wagged that Shulman was after Hathaway’s connections and cash. His work includes a West Wing episode (2006), a stint on NBC’s American Dreams (2005) and four years ago, a turn as Enos on the TV prequel movie The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning. Shulman graduated from Brown University in 2003 with a theater arts degree.
But the professionally uneven pair have at least one thing in common – They are both natives of New York, where they live a low-key life. “We have house parties and dinner parties and just hang out” – Hathaway told USA TODAY in August while promoting One Day.
She grinned while talking about Shulman. “I’m so delighted by my boyfriend. He’s all the things you want a partner to be. I so find joy in his presence.”
Still, she seemed more sanguine than swoony about her new partnership. “Relationships are work, but love is a gift” – she said, then quoted the band Bright Eyes to illustrate her point: ” ‘I’d rather be working for a paycheck than waiting to win the lottery.’ … That’s the way I feel about love.”
“Calm’s new, it recently became calm” – she added. “For years it was full of doubt, really — how do you know?”
One thing there seems to be little doubt about: an expansion of the Hathaway-Shulman partnership. “I’d like to have kids in 10 years” – she said. “I don’t know about five, but 10.”
