dActor/singer Justin Timberlake and new bride Jessica Biel wrote their own wedding vows to keep the ceremony light and personal.
The couple was married by Hollywood director Bill Purple on Friday in Savelletri di Fasano, Italy, in front of family and friends including: Jimmy Fallon, music producer Timbaland and Biel’s former “7th Heaven” co-star Beverley Mitchell.
But despite being surrounded by their celebrity pals, the singer and the actress kept the nuptials as intimate as possible by exchanging handwritten vows by candlelight.
Timberlake tells People magazine: “(It was) very personal. (They were) filled with our love for each other and what this means for us. I can’t let more than 10 minutes go by without some moments of comedy so they were funny and heartwarming.”

Justin Timberlake is literally jumping for joy in the cover photo of “People” magazine this week, an image that shows a moment from his wedding to Jessica Biel. In what looks more like an album cover than a loving wedding shot, Biel’s dress is revealed for the first time as she sits pretty while her new husband appears to have a Tom Cruise on Oprah’s couch moment.
After much speculation, it was revealed in a press release Wednesday that Biel chose Italian designer Giambattista Valli for her wedding gown. The strapless dress is made of silk mousseline and silk organza and features a light pink floral pattern and ruffles. According to the release – Biel’s veil was finished with heirloom pearls.
For newlyweds Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel, it was an affair to remember.
Five days after they tied the knot in a romantic ceremony at the Borgo Egnazia resort in the southern Italian city of Fasano, details and pictures are finally emerging about the magical affair—from the gorgeous pink wedding gown the 30-year-old actress wore to the song the 31-year-old singer-actor serenaded her with as she walked down the aisle.
Timberbiel’s nuptials are the cover story of the Nov. 5 edition of People, which features an ecstatic Timberlake jumping for joy next to his blushing bride.
In the issue, Biel tells of having “butterflies” as her father, Jon, started to walk her down the aisle.
“I was about to stand up in front of my friends and family and bare my soul for the person I love. It was terribly emotional” – she told the magazine.
But the erstwhile 7th Heaven star instantly felt at ease the moment she laid eyes on her soon-to-be hubby, who was waiting for her in the resort’s piazza.
“I felt calm” – she added. “I thought: ‘I got this. We got this.’”
Biel looked absolutely stunning in a custom, light pink Giambattista Valli strapless dress and carried a bouquet of chamomile, ranunculus and ruscus, while Timberlake sported a tuxedo designed by Tom Ford.
