Jenna Jameson arrested for DUI
Former adult film star Jenna Jameson has been arrested in Southern California for investigation of driving under the influence after she struck a light pole with her vehicle.
Police say Jameson had driven her vehicle into a light pole early Friday in Westminster. She suffered minor injuries but refused medical treatment.
A police statement says a field sobriety test was conduct and there were signs of intoxication. Jameson was booked and later cited and released.
A statement issued by her website says Jameson is home and well but has no immediate comment.
Jameson crossed into the mainstream after publishing a popular autobiography in 2004. She has twin sons with mixed martial arts star Tito Ortiz – who two years ago claimed Jameson was addicted to the painkiller Oxycontin.

In a 911 call made by a woman who claimed she witnessed her driving erratically before smashing her Range Rover into the lamppost.
She told the officer on the phone: “I was actually getting ready to call you guys because she was drunk. Next thing I know she went into the pole.”
The caller asked Jenna if she needed paramedics, to which she replied: “No, I just want to go.”
She is later be heard in the background saying: “I’m Jenna Jameson.”
Three officers later attended the scene, where she was arrested after failing the sobriety test.
After her arrest she was booked at the Westminster City Jail and was later cited and released.
The infamous celebrity, who has two young sons with Ultimate Fighting champ Tito Ortiz, smiled for her mugshot, in which she is wearing heavy eye makeup.
Self-styled entrepreneur Jameson was dubbed “the Queen of Porn” in her 90′s heyday and even appeared in mainstream Hollywood movies such as America’s Got Talent judge Howard Stern’s biopic Private Parts.
She was involved in another legal tussle two years ago when she claimed Ortiz pushed her into a bathtub and injured her arm during an argument at their home.
The 37-year-old denied abusing her and said she falsely accused him after he confronted her about a suspected Oxycontin addiction.
Jameson later recanted her story, and the couple got back together.

The single car accident occurred around 1:30 a.m. Jameson appeared to show signs of intoxication, according to sources. Police officers reportedly administered a field sobriety test. After presumably determining she was under the influence, they then took the iconic porn queen into custody for suspected DUI.
Talk about a pole dance gone wrong. So where is Jameson now?
Fortunately for her, she was released on bail only six hours after booking – The Hollywood Gossip reports.
As Jameson’s accident reveal, allegedly driving drunk is never a good idea. In every state, a DUI conviction carries some pretty steep and embarrassing consequences.
Typically, it can result in your driver’s license being suspended anywhere from 90 days to five years, depending on your case’s severity. Drivers can also be forced to attend alcohol rehabilitation and driving safety classes. Repeat offenders can even have their cars confiscated or have an ignition lock device installed in it. And of course, there’s always the possibility of jail time and fines. Not to mention, you know, possibly dying in the DUI accident itself.
Luckily for Jameson, she only sustained a few minor injuries. She refused medical treatment – according to law enforcement officials. Apparently, they weren’t anything she couldn’t handle.
So far, Jenna Jameson hasn’t released any comment regarding her suspected DUI arrest. Though a statement from her Website says she’s well and at home. The former porn actress has appeared in over a hundred pornographic films. In 2008, she confirmed her retirement from acting in adult movies.
