Scout Willis arrested for drinking
Scout Willis, the middle sibling of the Demi Moore and Bruce Willis clan has gotten herself into a bit of bother with the law. Clearly not satisfied with mum Demi and big sister Rumer Willis hogging the tabloid limelight, Scout has been caught underage drinking and tried to get out of trouble by presenting the cops with a fake ID. The story was broken by the New York Daily News.
According to the report, Scout was found drinking a beer but at 20 years old, she’s under the legal drinking age in the States. Willis (who is a student at Brown University) was arrested at 6:30pm on Monday – June 4, 2012 – in Union Square, New York City, for criminal impersonation, after presenting the fake ID, which apparently belonged to a |Katherine Kelly.” When she eventually unveiled her real ID, she told the officer “My name is Scout Willis. The first ID isn’t mine. My friend gave it to me. I don’t know Katherine Kelly.” She had also violated the “open container” law, a spokesperson for NYPD told People. Scout was eventually released without bail, on Tuesday.
In March this year, it was also discovered that Scout was one of the people behind a Twitter feed that was filled with ruminations on “sex, drugs, cigarettes and partying.” Willis’ rep defended the young celebrity offspring by saying that it was a means of illustrating “how social media is utilised” – for a college project.

Scout Willis was arrested Monday evening and now her lawyer is not letting her go down without a fight.
The 20-year old daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore was arrested for underage drinking and presenting an officer a fake ID in New York’s Union Square Monday evening. Scout was drinking a “Pakistani beer” when she was spotted by a transit cop, the New York Daily News reports. Scout handed over an ID with the name “Katherine Kelly” written on it to which the cop did not fall for.
People reports that Stacey Richman, Scout’s lawyer, has released a statement to People saying that the idea of Scout taking a plea deal by pleading guilty to the offenses is a sham. “It would be outrageous to mar a person that’s clearly going places – clearly seeking to have a career … with a criminal record. The goal is clearly a non-criminal offer.”
Richman says at the time Scout “was honest about who she was. She is a very proper, very impressive, smart young woman. She presented her own ID. . . . She did not know who the other person on the other ID is” – the Daily News reports. Police have no released whether the person on the ID was a real person or if it was, in fact, a fake ID.
She is due back in court July 31.

An officer saw Willis, who’s made her mark in the city singing with her band, drinking an 8-ounce Pakistani beer just before 7 p.m. Monday, police confirm.
After flashing the officer a New York ID card with the name “Katherine Kelly” – according to the Daily News report, the officer continued questioning Willis.
“My name is Scout Willis” – she reportedly said when she pulled out her actual California ID, according to the criminal complaint. “The first ID isn’t mine. My friend gave it to me. I don’t know Katherine Kelly.”
This isn’t the first time the celebrity daughter has made an edgy impression.
