Nintendo’s E3 video
Residents of North America who tried watching Nintendo’s E3 presentation this morning found that the official Nintendo stream didn’t work as hoped. Viewers who wonder – if they missed anything while trying to connect to the European or Japanese streams can watch the entire 41-minute presentation here.

Today Nintendo streamed – or attempted to stream – it’s E3 Nintendo Direct in place of a press conference, and those who missed the stream can now watch the entire thing on YouTube.
The UStream of this morning’s Nintendo Direct had its share issues with many gamers not getting a chance to see the presentation. Those who did see the stream experienced issues with the video freezing every few seconds.

Nintendo has a whole lot to prove following all the other E3 news we got yesterday from Microsoft, Sony, EA and Ubisoft. The Wii U is selling poorly and has a significant lack of games. At the same time, however, the 3DS has become something of a gaming powerhouse, with lots of great content and lots of variety in what’s available. Their Nintendo Direct, which they are doing instead of a typical E3 press conference, will begin at 9 a.m. central.
Nintendo has to really bring it over the next few months to prove they can still compete for the same kind of money the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will be vying for this holiday season. Yes – Nintendo has always been known to kind of trudge their own trail, and it worked very well for the original Wii, but still. They need to step it up.
We can expect to see the new Super Smash Bros., a new 3D Mario game, a new Mario Kart, and potentially more Zelda (including A Link to the Past 2, which was announced for 3DS recently).
