Results of Dancing With the Stars

David Hasselhoff and Kym Johnson were eliminated Tuesday night from “Dancing with the Stars” season 11’s first results show.
“The identity of the star who’s going to be eliminated surprised even our producers!” – said host Tom Bergeron.
It’s not too surprising. Hasselhoff, after all, scored only 15 of a possible 30 points Monday night — the lowest score in the group. Judges’ scores count for half of the elimination vote. The other half come from audience members who call or text.
It was more surprising to hear the hosts announce the first two stars who were safe, two who were among those who received the lowest scores from the judges – Michael Bolton and Margaret Cho.

Dancing With the Stars Results – 2010 September 21 Show. Jennifer Gray turned a lot of heads during her performance on “Dancing with the Stars.” She had starred alongside Patrick Swayze in the 1987 teen classic “Dirty Dancing,” and is now taking the talent that helped her land the role and is bringing it to the highest rated reality television show in recent memory. She received the highest score from the judges on Monday night in the debut of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.”
Her Waltz was nearly flawless, and the judges loved the energy she brought to the dance floor. They danced to the song “These Arms of Mine,” which is one of the songs that was used during the rehearsal scenes from “Dirty Dancing.” It is clear that she was trying to capitalize on her fame as a dancer from the movie and to dance to a song that she was familiar with.
She broke down to tears when she recounted dancing the song with her costar in the movie, Patrick Swayze, who died from pancreatic cancer last fall. She earned 24 of 30 possible points and although it was not the best performance that has ever been featured on the show, it was certainly one of the best to air during a debut episode.

Jersey Shore star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino barely escaped the dreaded Dancing With the Stars premiere week boot tonight. The Situation was left to sweat it out during the hour-long live Dancing With the Stars results show, but in the end it was David Hasselhoff who danced his last dance before the competition even really got started.
The save means The Situation can now take advantage of a full week of rehearsals for Dancing With the Stars Season 11 Week 2. Hopefully the Jersey Shore star can improve enough to level the playing the field with the rest of the competition “I tried my hardest. Tried to put on a show.” Sitch said clearly humbled by his low score.
The Situation and his partner Karina Smirnoff received a total of 15 points out of 30 for their Cha Cha putting them in a 3-way tie at the bottom. Margaret Cho and The Hoff also recieved 15 points and both were equally as painful to watch. But remember, The Situation had two fewer weeks to practice than his competitors, so his low score didn’t come as a shock.
