Ryan Bader faced his toughest challenge yet against veteran Antonio Rogerio Nogueira. Nogueira came after a controversial win over Jason Brilz. Bader remained undefeated with a unanimous decision victory over Nogueira in 3 rounds.
In the UFC 119 main event, Frank Mir and Mirko Filipovic fought was one of the worst UFC main events in our recent memory. The crowd spent the majority of the fight loudly booing the competitors. After two and a half rounds Frank Mir Knocked Out Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic and won the fight.

In a rematch of an Ultimate Fighter finale, Chris Lytle avenged his earlier loss to Matt Serra with a unanimous decision victory after three action packed rounds.
This fight more than made up for the initial boring split decision that Serra won. That fight left a bad taste in the mouths of both men and changed Chris Lytle into the aggressive fighter now beloved by fans.
Matt Serra came out targeting the body of Chris Lytle with hard right hands. Lytle countered with hooks and uppercuts. Serra countered with hard shots but Lytle outlanded him for most of the first round. Serra’s left eye bled by the end of the round.
Lytle tagged Serra early in the second but when he went in for the kill, Serra tagged him back. Mid round, Lytle staggered Serra again with a brutal combination that heavily favored the right hand. Serra fired back gamely with body shots. Then staggered Lytle with a sequence of his own, but Lytle scored the even more damaging blows. With about 30 seconds left Lytle opened up again on a staggered Serra but could not finish. Then Serra came back firing amazing the crowd.
In the third it took a slip for Lytle to jump start the action as Serra leapt in to attack and ate a hard right. Then a series of punches. Serra bagan to kick and even went for a standing choke briefly but the fight remained a boxing match. Lytle landed with rights and a nasty left hook. Serra fired back right up to the end but it was too little by far.
