Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth split
Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli say they are divorcing after 11 years. In a statement Tuesday – the couple said they decided to end their marriage but share “the same deep love and devotion to our children.”
Garth and Facinelli said they remain “dedicated to raising our beautiful daughters together,” and asked for privacy and respect. The Southern California couple are parents to 14-year-old Luca, 9-year-old Lola and 5-year-old Fiona.
The 39-year-old Garth came to fame in the 1990′s TV series “Beverly Hills, 90210″ and appeared in the 2008-10 sequel. The 38-year-old Facinelli is a co-star in the “Twilight” movie franchise. The couple married in Jan. 2001. Garth competed in “Dancing With the Stars” in 2007, with Facinelli applauding her from the audience.

They announced their split this morning in a joint statement.
Now a new report suggests that “Twilight” star Peter Facinelli allegedly cheated on his wife of 11 years “90210″ star Jennie Garth, leading to their marriage breakdown.
A source has told website Scallywag & Vagabond that Facinelli was having a “torrid affair” with an unidentified Canadian woman.
The actor allegedly met the woman, who is said to be in her late 20′s, whilst filming Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn in Vancouver.
“Peter had been seeing another woman for quite some time” – a source told the website.
“They (Jennie and Peter) tried to make it work for the sake of their children and Jennie played housewife for as long as she could but finally had enough.”
The website alleges that the Beverly Hills 90210 star knew about the affair.
“Jennie knew. As a lot of couples do, they simply grew apart” – the insider told the site.
According to the website – the pair allegedly separated last year in summer for a short period of time, in order to try and save their marriage.
Jennie reportedly lived with her children in the family home while Peter rented a home nearby.
However the pair announced that they are to divorce after a decade of married life today.

Just the previous night, Facinelli, 38 – who plays vampire patriarch Carlisle Cullen in the “Twilight” films and the beleaguered Doctor Fitch “Coop” Cooper on Showtime’s “Nurse Jackie” – attended the Los Angeles premiere of “The Hunger Games” accompanied by eldest daughter, Luca Bella, 14.
The couple’s other daughters are Lola Ray, 9, and Fiona Eve, 5. Garth, 39, is best known for playing Kelly Taylor on the 1990-2000 Fox teen drama “Beverly Hills, 90210,” a role she reprised on the first two seasons (2008-10) of The CW’s sequel “90210.” In 2007, she appeared on “Dancing With the Stars,” finishing fourth.
Garth and Facinelli met on the set of the 1996 ABC TV-movie “An Unfinished Affair.” She was executive producer and played the collegiate mistress of art teacher Alex Connor, played by Tim Matheson. Facinelli played his son, whom Garth’s character seduces as revenge when the teacher ends the affair.
The couple married January 20, 2001, in Santa Barbara, Calif. As recently as August 2010, Garth described her husband to People magazine as “really foxy. I’ve always thought: ‘Wow, I’m super lucky.’ He’s a babe.”
Facinelli was raised in Ozone Park, Queens. His parents now live in Bellmore.
