True? Or should we be put this one on ice?
Woods’s rep wasn’t immediately available for comment, but Vonn’s rep says the skier is thinking only of snow right now.
“Lindsey is currently in the midst of the World Cup season in Europe” – her rep tells PEOPLE. “Her focus is solely on competing and on defending her titles and thus she will not participate in any speculation surrounding her personal life at this time.”
This is not the first time Vonn (28) has been linked to another star athlete. Right after announcing her split from husband Thomas Vonn in November 2011, rumors flew that she was dating Tim Tebow. She quickly shot down those reports on Twitter.
Woods, 37, who was caught up in a highly publicized cheating scandal in 2009, hasn’t been seriously linked to anyone since splitting from his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren.

Last year the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival used technological trickery to make it look as if Tupac Shakur had been brought back to life. So what do you do for an encore to one of pop music’s biggest magic shows? Coachella organizers have turned to reunited Brit-pop act Blur and one of L.A.’s longest-running rock acts in the Red Hot Chili Peppers to anchor its 2013 festival.
Blur will be joined by reunited countrymates the Stone Roses, rock act the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, legend Lou Reed, French pop band Phoenix and Trent Reznor’s How to Destroy Angels at the top of the bill for the dual Coachella festivals, set for the weekends of April 12 and April 19 in the desert city of Indio. Other upper-tier artists include Modest Mouse, a double-dose of Nick Cave – performing with Grinderman and the Bad Seeds, Yeasayer and Skrillex project Dog Blood.
Held at the Empire Polo Grounds since its 1999 inception, Coachella has a reputation for presenting a heavily curated lineup that connects the dots among hitmakers, underground artists and those on the comeback trail, all within an unique desert setting that’s increasingly becoming more resort-like, with upscale options to match – at the highest end of the VIP configurations there are $6.500 air-conditioned tents.

Did she lip-sync or didn’t she?
That’s the question still on many American’s minds two days after popular singer Beyonce gave what appeared to be a stirring rendition of “The Star Spangled Banner” at President Obama’s inauguration Jan. 21.
The mini-scandal has created more buzz than the president’s inauguration speech.
Speculation the song was not performed live surfaced immediately on Twitter and was given legs early Jan. 22 in a story by Washington, D.C. magazine, The Washingtonian. The Times of London later reported that they had confirmed Beyonce lip-synced her performance.
Fuel to the fire were photos posted by Beyonce to her Tumblr account, showing what appears to be a recording session with the U.S. Marine Band (which accompanied her performance) in advance of the inauguration ceremony.
Beyonce herself has been silent on the subject, but the U.S. Marine Band has given conflicting statements.

Serena Williams is out of the Australian Open after losing her quarterfinal match 3:6, 7:5, 6:4 to 19-year-old American Sloane Stephens.
Williams appeared to hurt her lower back while attempting to pull up short of the net during the eighth game of the second set. She called for a trainer after the ninth game with the score 5:4 and on serve.
Stephens won the second set when Williams, serving slower than usual, was broken. Williams also had her service broken in the final game of the match.
At 2:1 and on the way to a changeover in the third set, Williams smashed her racket angrily on the court then threw it toward her chair.
Stephens will play defending champion Victoria Azarenka in the semifinals.

An inauguration planning official says turnout was “definitely above 800.000″ and possibly up to one million people.
Chris Geldart, who directs the District of Columbia’s homeland security and emergency management agency, says early and unofficial estimates of the number of people on the National Mall indicate a turnout higher than 800.000. That’s based on aerial views of how the crowd filled sections of the mall.
Officials initially anticipated as many as 800.000 visitors, but lowered the projections to 500.000 to 700.000, based partly on an updated number of charter buses and restaurant and hotel reservations.
But Geldart (who’s also co-chairman of the district’s presidential inaugural committee) said the event benefited from relatively mild weather.
About 1,8 million people attended President Barack Obama’s first swearing-in in 2009.

The Harbowl is coming. John Harbaugh’s Baltimore Ravens will face his brother Jim Harbaugh and the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII. The 2013 Super Bowl will be played in New Orleans and feature two brothers facing off for the first time in Super Bowl history. The early line has the 49ers as a five-point favorite over the Ravens.
It’s official – Harbaugh is going to be the name you become sick of hearing between now and Feb. 3, 2013, the date of Super Bowl 47. That’s because the Harbaugh brothers will meet in the big game. It also means Jack Harbaugh, Jim and John’s dad, should get ready for lots and lots of media requests.

Chicago rapper Chief Keef has been taken into custody after a juvenile court judge decided a video of him firing a semiautomatic rifle at a New York gun range was a violation of probation.
The artist (real name Keith Cozart) was sentenced last year to 18 months’ probation after his conviction on aggravated unlawful use of a weapon charges for pointing a gun at police officers.
Defense attorney Dennis Berkson told Walker his client never took the gun outside of the range and the target practice was supervised.
Chief Keef’s first album (“Finally Rich”) was released last year to mixed reviews.

Gen. H. Norman Schwarzkopf (who presided over the swift and devastating 1991 military assault on Iraq that transformed the Middle East and reminded America what it was like to win a war) died Thursday of complications from pneumonia. He was 78.
The former four-star general, whose burly image towering in camouflage fatigues above his troops came to define both Operation Desert Storm and the nation’s renewed sense of military pride, had been living in relatively quiet retirement in Tampa, Fla., eschewing the political battles that continued to broil over a part of the world he had left as a conqueror.
“We’ve lost an American original” – the White House said in a statement. “Gen. Schwarzkopf stood tall for the country and Army he loved. Our prayers are with the Schwarzkopf family, who tonight can know that his legacy will endure in a nation that is more secure because of his patriotic service.”
Former President George H.W. Bush, hospitalized himself with an illness in Texas, called Schwarzkopf “a true American patriot and one of the great military leaders of his generation.”

It’s that time of the year again, so dust off your aluminum pole and get ready to air your grievances. That’s right, people, it’s December 23 — also known as Festivus.
As NewsFeed explained last year, Festivus is a made-up holiday popularized — and, really, immortalized — by a 1997 episode of Seinfeld called “The Strike.” It was originally the brainchild of a former Readers’ Digest editor named Dan O’Keefe (father of Seinfeld writer Daniel O’Keefe), who began the tradition in 1966 – according to a 2004 New York Times article. O’Keefe said the word just popped into his head one day, and soon, Festivus began to evolve as a wacky family tradition. That is, until the younger O’Keefe adapted it into the classic Seinfeld story line, transforming it into a national pop culture phenomenon.
In the episode, George Costanza begrudgingly explains to his friends that his father, Frank, dreamed up Festivus as a less commercial alternative to Christmas — “a Festivus for the rest of us.” Traditions include the erecting of an aluminum Festivus pole and two key practices – Airing of Grievances and Feats of Strength. As you might imagine, George doesn’t mind the former too much; but he loathes the latter.
