Neptune Festival 2010 in Virginia Beach
The Boardwalk Weekend of the Neptune Festival 2010 in Virginia Beach is inviting the public. The admission is free. Yesterday the North American Sandsculpting Championship took place. Today one of the big events is the Grand Parade.
During the Grand Parade at the Neptune Festival in Virginia Beach, floats, costume characters, marching bands and military units parade on Atlantic Avenue. The floats are starting at 16th street and running North on Atlantic Avenue along the Oceanfront.
Officials said – ‘Parade will take place rain or shine.’ But there should not be a problem anyhow, as the skies are blue and the sun is shining in Virginia Beach today, with temperatures of 90 degrees.
Over 275 artisans will line the boardwalk for the Neptune Art and Craft Show interspersed with a veritable smorgasbord of food vendors dishing out delectable delights guaranteed to please any palette.

Boardwalk Weekend will run on the Virginia Beach Oceanfront from 2nd Street to 36th Street on the Also featured over the weekend is the famous North American Sand sculpting Competition, people flock from all over the country to see them, to complete the event will be a large art and craft show, on 32 blocks.
Neptune Festival is in progress in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This weekend will be based on something referred to as ‘Boardwalk Weekend’. It will begin today and sustain till September 26, 2010.
The 2010 Neptune Festival will be featuring ‘Boardwalk Weekend’ which will run from 2nd Street to 36th Street on the Virginia Beach Oceanfront. It will take place from 12:00 PM – 11:00 PM on Friday, 10:00 AM – 11:00 PM on Saturday, and 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM on Sunday.
The best part of the event is the famous North American Sandsculpting Competition. People from all over the country come to see the wonderful sand sculpture. There will also be shows spread through the 32 blocks on the walkway, in addition to an enormously large art and craft show.
If anybody likes to play volleyball, than they can enter the volleyball tournament that goes on the beach.
