New ‘American Idol’ judges

Wednesday, on the stage of the Forum in Los Angeles, amid intense speculation – OK, not that intense. Everyone knew it for awhile now – the final two American Idol judges were announced! ‘Rolled out,’ as they say. They are Steven Tyler, lunatic wide-mouth tenor of Aerosmith, and impossibly gorgeous Jennifer Lopez. They’ll join Randy Jackson, still there after all these years. Host Ryan Seacrest introduced the trio in a fired-up, thumping, pointless rally. See, they’re ‘auditioning.’ OK, this has to be the craziest, most random assortment of three people ever, in the show’s grand tradition of unexplainedly wacky combos of jaggedly divergent personalities. Everyone’s hoping J-Lo and Stevie T can recapture the magic of former Idol arbiters Paula Abdul and Simon ‘Me Make Money’ Cowell. So, are J-Lo and Stevie supposed to fight? She would so clock the little dude.

By law, soon as you get to be a judge on Idol, the snarks start. Rumor: J-Lo’s getting $12 million for her Idolness. Rumor: She’s such a diva she nearly botched the deal – and is already busting chops on the set. (‘Gimme them yellow M&Ms!!!!’) Stevie T, now resembling a weird mix of Whoopi Goldberg and Topo Gigio, says his Aerosmith mates are all, like, ‘jealous.’

Results of Dancing With the Stars

David Hasselhoff and Kym Johnson were eliminated Tuesday night from “Dancing with the Stars” season 11’s first results show.
“The identity of the star who’s going to be eliminated surprised even our producers!” – said host Tom Bergeron.
It’s not too surprising. Hasselhoff, after all, scored only 15 of a possible 30 points Monday night — the lowest score in the group. Judges’ scores count for half of the elimination vote. The other half come from audience members who call or text.
It was more surprising to hear the hosts announce the first two stars who were safe, two who were among those who received the lowest scores from the judges – Michael Bolton and Margaret Cho.

NFL player Kenny McKinley found dead

Kenny McKinley, whom, if you’re a fan of NFL know as the Denver Broncos’ wide receiver, was found dead on Monday.

The police found the player’s body after they were alerted by a call.
The investigation is still ongoing but according to reports the incident appears to be a suicide considering the gun wound that appeared to be self inflicted.
However nothing has been made official yet until more evidence will be collected.
It’s hard to come up with reasons for McKinley’s tragedy, but the fact, that he was on reserve after a pretty severe knee injury might be one.

Shane Mosley vs Sergio Mora

Los Angeles – Shane Mosley and Sergio Mora fought in the main event Saturday night at Staples Center, but many of the mostly Hispanic fans who packed the arena for Golden Boy Promotions’ Mexican bicentennial celebration card came to see phenom Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, one of Mexico’s most popular fighters.
The 20-year-old gave them what they came for in the co-feature as he erased former welterweight champion Carlos Baldomir with a crushing sixth-round knockout in their junior middleweight bout.
Alvarez dominated the much slower Baldomir, 39, until unloading on him in the sixth round. As the raucous crowd was chanting: “Canelo! Canelo! Canelo,” Alvarez landed a flush left hook to Baldomir’s chin. He fell face first, hitting his face on the mat with a loud thud. Baldomir tried in vain to beat the count, but referee Jose Cobian counted him out at 2 minutes, 58 seconds, and the crowd erupted again.

Mikhail S. Gorbachev, Louis Vuitton and murder of Litvinenko in London.

Do you see new Louis Vuitton Advertising?

The last president of USSR Mikhail S. Gorbachev is featured in a car, a Louis Vuitton bag at his side and the Berlin Wall in the background.

But what is the book at the top of the bag? :)

Mikhail Gorbachev and Louis Vuitton

Increase and overturn…

Mikhail Gorbachev and murder of Litvinenko

This book in Russian “Murder of Litvinenko. Treason for $7000″

What would it mean? :)

Information from Wikipedia:
“Alexander Litvinenko (30 August 1962[1][2] – 23 November 2006) was a lieutenant-colonel in the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation and later a Russian dissident and writer. A son of a physician, Litvinenko was schooled in Nalchik, before being drafted into the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a private. After graduating in 1985 from the Kirov Higher Command School, he became a platoon commander in an Internal Troops regiment. Litvinenko became a KGB officer in 1986, and two years later, was moved into the Military Counter Intelligence.
In 1991, he was promoted to the Central Staff, and specialised in counter-terrorism and infiltration of organised crime. Six years later, he was promoted to senior operational officer and deputy head of the Seventh Section of the FSB. He was in charge of protecting Russian billionaire Boris Berezovsky. In November 1998, Litvinenko publicly accused his superiors of ordering the assassination of Berezovsky. He was arrested by Russian authorities and then released; he later fled to the United Kingdom, where he was granted political asylum and citizenship. Litvinenko tried to publish a book in Russia in which he described Vladimir Putin’s rise to power as a coup d’etat organised by the FSB. He stated a key element of FSB’s strategy was to frighten Russians by bombing apartment buildings in Moscow and other Russian cities. He alleged the bombings were organised by FSB and blamed on Chechen terrorists to legitimise reprisals using military force in Chechnya.
On 1 November 2006, Litvinenko suddenly fell ill and was hospitalised. He died three weeks later, becoming a rare victim of lethal polonium-210 radiation poisoning under highly suspicious circumstances. The fact that Litvinenko’s revelations about alleged FSB misdeeds were followed two years later by his poisoning led to public accusations that the Russian government was behind his death, resulting in worldwide media coverage. A British police investigation resulted in several suspects for the murder, but in May 2007, the British Director of Public Prosecutions, Ken Macdonald, announced that his government would seek to extradite Andrei Lugovoi, the chief suspect of the case, from Russia.[3] On 28 May 2007, the British Foreign Office officially submitted a request to the Government of Russia for the extradition of Lugovoi to face criminal charges in the UK.[4] On 5 July 2007, Russia officially declined to extradite Lugovoi, citing the prohibition of extradition in Russia’s constitution.”
